🎓Memorial Symposium - Aya and Stephen Attend the University of Birmingham

Aya and Stephen attended the University of Birmingham to present their research at a conference dedicated to the life of Prof John Fossey. Aya’s research poster entitled “The integration between highly fluorescent novel carbon dots and molecular imprinting technology for the sensitive detection and quantification of pepsin enzymes”.

Professor John Fossey sadly passed away on Friday 15th April 2022. John was a great chemist, a wonderful colleague and a fantastic mentor. He was a creative thinker, passionate about equality and providing opportunity for all. John made many contributions to the School of Chemistry at Birmingham. He also collaborated extensively so his loss will be felt by many across the academic community.
